Conditions of Hire


Whilst we do our utmost to ensure our drivers are punctual, you will understand that we cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by circumstances out of our control. These include although not limited to, weather, traffic, breakdown and accidents.

The driver will drive at safe and sensible speeds and in accordance with the prevailing traffic / road conditions and legal speed limits.

We reserve the right to change your vehicle or driver at any time if necessary but will do our best to inform you beforehand. We may provide sub contracted vehicles and drivers where necessary. Drivers will travel by the most appropriate route on the day unless instructed otherwise by the customer or at the time of booking.

*** We reserve the right to refuse to carry any passengers deemed to be under the influence of drugs/alcohol or whose behaviour poses a threat to the driver, vehicle or any other passenger ***

Your car should arrive at the meeting/pick up point in showroom condition. Clients are responsible for any damage caused by them or any of their party to the exterior/interior of the vehicle on hire to them and will be billed accordingly for any repair or valeting needed to reinstate the vehicle to full working order.

Payments and Deposits

We accept cash, debit/credit cards (subject to a 5% charge). We also accept by prior agreement BACS payments. Please note your booking may be subject to additional waiting time and or car parking charges. Please ask for details.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

If you are not at the prearranged meeting point we will do our best to contact you. If we cannot contact you and you fail to contact us after a period of 1 hour we will void the booking but you will be liable or the full fare plus 1 hours waiting time at the applicable rate.

Failure to appear at the designated time or pick up point will void the contract and any monies paid to Platinum Executive Travel will be non refundable.

If you cancel less than 24hrs we reserve the right to charge the full fare.

If you cancel MORE than 24 hours prior to a booking any deposit will be returned to you subject to a £20 administration fee.

Invoices/Account Charges

Invoices will be sent out as agreed and payment is respectfully requested within the previously agreed time period which will be printed on your invoice.

Failure to settle the invoice may regrettably result in legal action.

Data Protection Policy

In line with the data protection act all phone numbers and email addresses will be kept for the minimum amount of time. However we securely retain phone numbers, email addresses and contact details for customer service satisfaction queries. Occasionally Bristol City Council ask us to provide customer contact details as part of our exemption (from displaying plates) application. Please notify us if you do not wish this to happen.

Luggage Policy

Clients property/luggage is carried entirely at their own risk and we accept no responsibility for any loss and/or damage.


Complaints in relation to any aspect of Platinum Executive Travel’s performance must be made in writing to the registered company address marked for the attention of Mr C J Donnelly.

We ask that any complaint is sent within 14 days of the booking.

Further complaints should go to Bristol City Council Licensing office quoting the Operator License number which is on the contact details.
